Island Copper Gallery creates opportunities and services to support the creative entrepreneurs in our community. The pop up series offers an interactive platform to feature your work.

We are interested in all things made and designed: textile, leather, ceramic, wood, glass artisans. apparel, home decor, furniture, graphic designers.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

The pop ups are curated by Island Copper Gallery to showcase a diverse group of  makers and designers. 

  • Innovative and unique. We look for expertly crafted handmade goods with unique and innovative design and special vintage collections of high quality objects. For food, we look for vendors that strive to serve beautifully presented or packaged using well-sourced ingredients.

  •         Diversity of products at the Marketplace. We accept a limited amount of vendors from each category. Applicants are not limited to listed categories if application submitted demonstrates a strong connection to the values of the event. Please contact us at info@hudsonriverexchange.com if you do not feel you fit in a category and we will help direct you

  •         A clear point of view demonstrated through a cohesive product line. We are looking for consistency within a line of products. We prefer vendors that have specialized in a product but offer a variety within that genre.

 

 

 

Maker + Collector provides

PRODUCT: Items priced + tagged

INVENTORY: Listed quantities and retail prices

DISPLAY: Any fixtures or props designed specifically for your product (ie. racks, shelving, platforms, etc.)

DELIVERY + PICK UP: Participants are responsible for shipping/dropping off and return/pick up of unsold inventory

PRINTED PROMO MATERIAL: Business cards for visitors

BIO + INFO: description of materials and process for other shopkeepers to reference. And include any special care instructions to pass onto customers.

Island Copper Gallery provides

SPACE: High end retail space in North Tisbury

STAFFING: Shopkeepers that are fellow creatives

PROMO TOOLS: Social media collateral to use for pop up promotion

PROMOTION: Posts on ICG social media during pop up installment period

OFFICE HOURS: Consultation and feedback from Nacho + Noava during the installment period

Why

  •         Be at two places at once. We offer an opportunity for your product to be in brick and mortar space while you fill online orders or are selling at market events.

  •         Brand exposure. Island Copper Gallery showcases the products and stories of Makers + Collectors on our social media.

  •         Compelling presentation. Visually merchandised by ICG and placed alongside great makers + collectors.

  •         Customer engagement. The internet is great but reach a wider audience with experiential encounters with your product. It also gives you a reason to reach out to existing customers to come check out what you’ve been working on.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

 All-inclusive : All-inclusive is truly that. This year, we are making it easy — just one flat fee. Island Copper Gallery will visually merchandise the products, man the shop and promote via Instagram. All you have to do is drop off during set-up period, have all the items priced, provide inventory list, and pick up remaining stock at the end. ICG sends you a check for items sold.

Featuring up to 3-5 makers for an opening party, and 19 days of retail.
